Over the years, The Crown Inn, has been one of the most visited pubs in the area, known for great food and good atmosphere. However, in recent years, the reputation has declined and it's even had a couple of closures.

Paul and Liz Jackson have grabbed The Crown Inn "by the horns" and have managed to transform the closed pub back to it's original splendour. They have pushed hard to make this excellent pub into one of the most quintessential country inns in Yorkshire. They serve the finest quality meals with ingredients sourced from the best local suppliers and have wines and ales which will wow the ever increasing clientele.

The Crown Inn was awarded "Yorkshire Pub of the Year 2011" in the White Rose Awards hosted by Welcome to Yorkshire. A truely fantastic achievement after being open for just over 18 months!

Please note we serve food on Bank Holiday Mondays 12-6pm and the bar is open until 10pm.
